Is your last name really Danger? Whats dangerous about you?

For the last 5 years my last name has been Danger ... I got the name The Danger Doll because I can morph myself into any look or style to fulfill fantasies.

What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done in modeling?

Hmm... In modeling I tend to do a lot of crazy flexibility or strength poses, and occasionally I will do these poses on top of very unstable or high objects, this can be dangerous!

Okay enough "Danger" for now, you dabble in a lot of different kind of shoots, what genre is your favorite?

Its really hard to say. As I said above, I got my name from changing my looks drastically, being able to adapt, take on new characters and all that. At the end of the day I really love the more natural shoots because I get to express MYSELF, while I still absolutely love when I get to be someone completely different - it is always nice being able to shoot as myself.


How did you get into fetish? Is it for business or does that sorta thing trickle down to the bed room for you.

I guess it depends what fetishes you are talking about. I have been into kink (mostly bondage, latex, corsets, high heels, nylons, feet, spanking, electroplay etc) for a long time ... some well before I was legally allowed to perform. Once I started performing for fetish websites, and shooting fetish themes for myself, more and more opportunities for me to explore new fetishes arose and I took them on. I love learning about new fetishes, the ins and outs and what makes those fetishists tick. At the end of the day I believe everyone (no matter what they are into) deserve to have a sexy and competent performer who knows how to truly fulfill their fantasies.

You have certain limitations on what you do in front of the camera, why?

Yes I do. I have been in this industry since I was 18, my mentor is a pornstar as are many of my friends. I leave the hardcore work to them. For me, the erotica I shoot is always a true sexual exploration. I want to test the limits of tease and erotica without throwing it in your face. Not to mention its nice to keep some secrets.

Is it hard finding and maintaining a boyfriend in the modeling business?

I have had boys/men in the past who couldn't handle what I do, or the idea that their friends can see my pussy on the internet... their loss. I feel very lucky I have been dating my current boyfriend for over 2 years, we live together and are madly in love. He supports my work and that is all I need.

I know you are pretty hyped about your new website coming out, give us a scoop on it

Okay, so as you know - my current website (www.mydollparts.com) is the official fetish site for my lower half - so it really focuses on my feet, legs, ass and all the accessories and what not that comes with. My new website www.TheDangerDoll.com has really been 5 years in the making. It is my "Official Erotic & Fetish site". It is launching with thousands of pictures and a handfull of video ranging from soft natural erotica to glamour to kink. There is literally something for everyone on this site. I have worked with some of the industries best photographers, videographers, and other hot female models to make this site everything you could ask for!

Of our past issues of Sexy Riot, which model catches your eye the most that you wouldn't mind shooting with?

I have actually worked with Dayna Delux before for Coffin Case, and I have talked to Vanessa and Jamie about shooting - but as you know Jamie doesn't take off her clothes :( bummer.

How did you get into tattoos? Has it gotten you more work or less, has it mattered?

I started getting tattooed at the age of 15 and as most do I fell in love. Honestly I can't say if I would have more or less work without them. I have certainly gotten turned down for them, but I have gotten plenty of work I am sure I wouldn't have gotten without them. Plenty of people still book me for "tattooless" work and they just cover them or photoshop them out. I really don't care either way.

Any print work coming up?

YES, I just graced the cover of LA Weekly (for the week of apr 29- may 6) and I have a multi page spread in the August issue of Hustler's Taboo with my good friend Melodie Gore.

Your featured on many sites for many different reasons, tell us about some of them

Oh goodness... well you can thank Joanna Angel from Burningangel.com for getting me naked in the first place. I have known Joanna long before I turned 18, so when it happened she had me jump in front of the camera and make magic happen. I have continued to shoot for them for the past 6 years and love every minute. In 2005 I started another website which I have since left and have no affiliation with so I will not mention their name. I have worked with a lot of different sites but will not be shooting for anyone but myself and handfull of contributing sites such as footfactory.com & hollyrandall.com.

Craziest place you ever had sex?

On a chairlift while on a snowboarding trip.

Where's your favorite place ever?

This is really hard, I have done a lot of traveling in my life to some really amazing places, but I think I would have to say that after my bed, Santo Vanuatu is my favorite place on earth. Amazing scaba diving, wonderful people, great weather, black and pink sand beaches ... the whole package. The first time I visited Vanuatu and Fiji I was supposed to be gone 3 weeks and I stayed 6 months.

Tell us more about your personal life, share something with us that many don't know on the internet!

Well, I am a total homebody. People think I am some kind of party animal, but I am not. Don't get me wrong, I worked in night clubs starting when I was 15 but I would much rather sit at home working and watching law & order and cooking for my man than being out watching people get shitty. I go to Las Vegas a lot for work (I have a studio there) and people always think Im going to show up at a club, when in reality I rarely leave my hotel room unless I am shooting.

What are you gonna do today after this interview?

Go to "my office" which is a cafe down the street that makes amazing lattes and get to work on the final touches of thedangerdoll.com

Dirty feet or stinky feet?

Dirty Feet (although personally I am a freak for clean feet and brand new fresh clean SOCKS!

Do you watch porn, if so who's your favorite pornstar?

My favorite pornstar has always been my business and life mentor Joanna Angel. I think she makes the best, most entertaining and engaging porn. Its not all bullshit and harsh lights, fake boobs, fake tans, and an overly roided cast of dudes. She makes epic porn, and I love the faces she makes when she fucks!

Did you go to school for art?

Yes ...I actually went to 2 schools for fashion design, fine arts and illustration ... Parsons in NYC and Otis in LA.

You look very Spanish, do people ever confuse you for being from any exotic places?

Hahah ... Most people say I look Italian, either way both wrong. I am FRENCH mostly, with some mutt mixed in. I love the genes my parents gave me.

When do you want to get married? ever?

For someone like me who grew up questioning if I would end up with a man or a woman, I am still very traditional when it comes to marriage, I always wanted to be married (to whomever it would be). My partents have been married nearly 30 years and are still on their first marriage. This is rare to find, but I hope my marriage is as happy and fulfilling as theirs. Im sure when the time comes everyone will know who that lucky person is.

What's life like in Orlando, FL?

Never a dull moment, that's for sure. Where I live, I'm minutes away from the beach, downtown, museums, parks, beautiful nature and amazing weather - I love it.

How long have you been modeling?

A little over two years now!

Do you have a boyfriend?

Yes, and he's definitely my kind of man! We've been together for over a year now.

What kind of guys are you attracted to ? White, Black, Asian Hispanic? etc

I am not racist at all, but I prefer white males, I've never dated out of my own race mostly due to threats from my father and the way I was raised.

Who are some photographers you have worked with?

I've worked with a slew for sure, some of my favorite and most memorable with Lauren Steil, Victoria Zeoli, Lithium Picnic, Gage Young, Mojokiss, Michelle Star, Shelby Chan and gosh, so many others I'm leaving out that were also so amazing and spectacular at what they do. :X

Who's your favorite designer out today?

I can honestly say that I don't have one! As much as I love fashion, my style and love constantly evolves, I like such a range of designers that I could never narrow it down to just one!

Any models you look up to? Anyone you would like to work with?

Cindy Crawford & Claudia Schiffer are huge inspirations for me, as well as Dita Von Teese, who has such a glamourous, classy look.

So, you like eating candy and smoking pot?

Two of my favorite things to do daily, all day.

What do you do on your free time?

Crafts! I love making cute artsy fartsy things, painting, gardening, flea markets, thrift shopping, hanging w/my friends.

Ever make it much down to Miami?

Yes! Actually going next week. : )

Any shoots coming up you can share with us?

I have a really exciting shoot coming up with Dangerously Dolly (Artraged) coming up that I'm really excited about! I've admired her work for awhile now & we've been wanting to shoot for some time now and FINALLY we'll be in the same place, same time soon. Cute stuff coming soon!

Ever had a one night stand?

Never in my life, everything about that phrase wants me to vomit. Sex is love, and love does not come & go overnight.

How many times have you been to Disney world?

 Over 20! It's one of my favorite theme parks, who doesn't love Minnie Mouse and magical lands?

What things model wise up to this point are you most proud of?

That's a toughie..I feel like I haven't even reached my full potential at all so it's hard to say.

Whats a big turn off and turn on for you?

Turn on - good smelling armpits. Turn off - teeth plaque.

Any pets?

A cat named Miss Kitty and a bunny name Herman (after Herman Munster)

What are some things you have just worked on?

I've been working on a lot of different shoots lately not only with my modeling but as a stylist & makeup artist for other models. Some of my favorite shoots lately have been at abandoned buildings also the haunted Preston castle. I've also been working a lot on my music lately & I’m planning on recording soon. I have lots of cool things coming up just kind of keeping them hush hush at the moment.

How did you get involved in modeling?

I was introduced to modeling & fashion at a very young age. I started out with beauty pageants & eventually made my way into modeling. When I was 13 I took modeling & acting classes & that led me to doing photo shoots & runway.

What made you get into alternative modeling? How was it introduced to you?

I've always had a great love for crazy hair, bizarre fashion, piercings & tattoos. I definitely never have conformed to the norm & when I discovered alternative modeling I knew it was exactly the type of modeling that I was meant to do.
Alternative modeling was introduced to me a few years back. I remember looking through tattoo magazines thinking how beautiful the women we're. I just loved how they did things their way & they seemed very confident in themselves. It was very inspirational to me.

ON YOUR MIND...

Where is your favorite place on earth?

My favorite place on earth so far in my life is Patrick's point. Patrick’s Point is in Trinidad, ca. It is such a pretty place with the ocean, trees, mountains & fresh air. I love being outdoors & exploring so that’s pretty much why I love this place. I have gone camping there quite a few times & I feel so relaxed when I visit.

Favorite Halloween moment?

A few years ago I decided to go trick or treating with my friends even though we were definitely not at the age where we should still be going door to door asking for candy… but we wanted free candy so we dressed up to disguise how old we really we’re & people didn’t have a clue. It was a fun Halloween.

What print work have you done thus far?

I have been featured in Gothic Beauty Magazine Front cover Issue 29, Sac Bee Sunday newspaper, American River Current Newspaper, anomie1 graffiti magazine, CRY. HAVOK Magazine, ARR art magazine.

Who would you like to work with?

I would love to work with designers such as Betsey Johnson, Marc Jacobs, Jeremy Scott & Patricia Field, It would be amazing to model for any of them. It would be the most incredible opportunity to work with Tim Burton someday on a film, his work is brilliant & very inspirational to me. I would also love to work with the band Brand New as a model in one of their music videos.

I suppose it was like any other childhood in any other city. Well, except living with my grandmothers in the country. Shooting guns, playing in the lake, and having tons of animals around. That was the best times!

  What were you like in high school, would anyone be shocked at what you are doing now?

I was a nerd. I'm not really sure if they would be shocked. I was into acting then so they'd probably not be surprised.

Who was the first photographer you worked with? How was that experience?

Wow I can't think of the first which would've been when I was really young. When I started modeling again my first was Danni from Cat Fight studios. She is awesome.

Do you hit the road at all?

Not since I had the baby. Life has mellowed out a lot.

Not a big fan of meat especially on the bone. I know, its crazy! I'm really not into BBQ

What's the sexiest part of a man's personality?

What got you into modeling?

Ha, my mom back when I was 12.

In-N-Out burger because its great and cheap!

What are you attracted to most about a man?

Personality.. he's got to make me laugh and keep me interested.

You studied acting, do you think it reflects what you do today? Where else would you like to take it?
For sure, It gave me the ability to show emotion not only through words. I would love to be able to act again. Ill go where ever the road takes me.

What do you do when your not in front of the camera?

Take care of my husband and baby.

How did you meet your boyfriend?

Cutting his hair, LOL! I started cutting his hair about 4 years ago, every 5 weeks. We didn't start dating till over a year ago.We both had huge crushes on each other, but we're both shy (believe or not) And I didn't want to overstep my professional boundaries. So it was a slow dating process. Which is great because we had that foundation of friendship first.

Tell us a little bit about your hair styling

What are you working on now?

My own solo site. Its called LynnPops.com. (Lynn is my middle name) All my focus in the last 6 months have gone to making this site. It will be updated weekly with photo sets, videos, blog entries, member chats, etc.

What do you like better, doing hair or being in front of the camera?

Do you style your own hair ever for shoots?
Always. I'm good with my own hair and makeup. Any time I've had some one else do my make up or hair, I've been disappointed.

Whats your biggest guilty pleasure and why?

Chocolate! I always crave it at night. I know, I'm So BAD, ha ha

What are you interested in doing next in modeling?

Getting LynnPops.com to launch. I'm super stoked on having my very own solo site!!! So we'll see how that goes. Also putting more effort in getting published in magazines.

How did you get into the nude photo shoots, was it easy for you?

I started with black and white artistic nudes. It wasn't easy at first. I would always keep my panties on. I felt insecure and wasn't comfortable in front of the camera yet. 3 years later, here I am. : D

It has been a real pleasure to work with Beguiling Images. He has given me most of my all time favorite images. Sam from S.H. Photography is so good at what he does, I loved working with him. Nick Saglimbeni from Slickforce Studios was a blast. Ken Marcus is such a character, his studio is like this huge adult playground. Isaac Madera is also great to have worked with.


How do you feel about gay marriage?


I'm all for gay marriage. I don't understand why people get upset over gay marriage.

Are you a natural red head?

I'm not a natural red head. I was a very light blonde up until now.

Dion, Mickey and Sylvia, Chuck Berry, Elvis and of course Frank Sinatra. Stuff like that.

Your beauty is striking. Where do you get your looks from? Where is your family from?

Thank you very much. I get told I look like my mother, just with different colored eyes. Hers are green. My mother is Irish and English. My father is Cherokee Indian.

What are some publications you worked with in the past.

Skin Art, Alt girl and there are others I recently worked with that should be coming out soon.

Which ones would you like to work with in the near feature?

Goodness, there are so many. Obviously tattoo magazines, and Leg Show is a cool one. I am big on hair and makeup, so magazines that showcase hair/makeup would be fun too.

Do you have a boyfriend? if so how does he feel about it I do have a wonderful boyfriend. I'm not sure if you are asking me how he feels about me modeling or about me modeling nude? Either way he is very supportive. We work together a lot. He is an experienced photographer specializing in artistic adult content so nude modeling isn't a big deal to him.

What do you look for in a man? I'm not looking for a man, but being very smart and quick witted is such a turn on.

You have a vast amount of model work you have done. What were some of the most recent projects you have worked on that the folks may not know about?


I'm currently on the cover of Skin Art magazine. It will be on stands till June. I have a couple other magazine works coming out in the near future as well. My paysite is also a constant project.

Your the first model we interview that does nude work, was it easy for you to take pictures in all the flesh?


Its easy for me to take nude pictures, but I don't take nude pictures just for the fun of it. All of my nude work has been paid and/or is for my members only website ispyvanessalake.com

Any creepy stories?


I have been fortunate to not have any creepy modeling stories. But when I was around 20 years old I was living in Santa Barbara and filling out a job application for this adult bookstore and a bizarre creepy homeless man harassed me. I was sitting on the curb of the street and the man walks in front of me (besides blocking my sun he gave off such a horrible odor) and punching his fist into the palm of his other hand says in scruffy voice " wanna die young or you wanna die old?!" I thought it must be a joke and started laughing and said "old...duh". I guess he didn't like that answer because he proceeded to say he was going to "pull my hair out " with other profanities. Not my hair!! My hair is my favorite attribute so I thought to myself, what can I do if he actually tries to pull my hair out? All I had to defend myself was my job application and the pen I was writing with.So my options were paper cutting him or stabbing him with my dinky little pen which grossed me out to think about. While my thoughts were processing he continued to get louder and louder, until he was shouting all the horrible things he was going to do to me. Keep in mind he is about a foot away from my face. One of those real close talkers no one likes. What the hell was I going to do? I looked around frantically for someone to save me, but nobody wanted to get involved with this insane man. They just wanted to stare from a safe distance away. Turds. I couldn't believe it when 3 cops walk out of a little deli 2 shops down and intervene. They told me they heard the man yelling at me from inside. I shared with them all the nice things the crazy man shouted at me and they arrested him. The cops said he was going to apologize to me and immediately I think oh no he is going to try and spit on me or something. But he didn't. He apologized and they escorted him away and put him the back of their car. I never did get hired at that adult bookstore either, haha.


What's the end game? Can you tell us what some of your major goals are?


My main goal at this point is to focus on turning my paysite, http://www.ispyvanessalake.com , into a successful enterprise. Nothing beats taking sexy photos and making your own schedule!
