Sometimes you have to smile to keep from crying. I know you feel me on this. Last night I went out to take my mind off of all the bills and projects that I've got to take care off this week. Live Jazz outside warm summer evening. How could I resist? After the event we walked back to the car only to find that my car had a flat tire. SERIOUSLY?! UGGH! After changing outfits 25 times and accepting that I really didn't "NEED" a glass of wine or a cold beer, to enjoy the evening for "FREE". (Keep in mind that the intention was NOT to spend a dime). Anyhoo...back to the laughing and not crying part. umm yea.. RIGHT?! It's so tough...
but Music always calms me ...
Seriously?!
OK....long story short. I called AAA got the spare on and eventually made it home safe. It's during these times that we can begin to grow. I have been slowly sharing my story and want to continue to encourage you to grow and choose HAPPINESS. It took me a minute to get back to my "HAPPY PLACE" while waiting for the tire to be fixed. Deciding that for what ever reason my trip home needed to be delayed. Not to mention how thankful I was that I didn't have a blow-out on the Highway. (that I just burned up less than 5 hours prior to having a flat). Smiling when you want to cry may sound ludicrous, but feeding into the negative energy is just waste of time. SO SMILE... seriously!! ;)
<<<<<----- I had to add this song because I so needed a wish last night (smiley face)

A WALK IN THE PARK
fans vs media
The last couple days, impatient sports fans have been asked to wait for content and curb their tweet-insta-facebooking activities.
While this is obviously complete idiocy, what is interesting from a broadcasting perspective is that fan generated content is becoming increasingly creative and colorful, as well as tres snappy, leaving traditional media looking slow, boring and well, traditional in comparison.

THIS IS BANKSY?
These type of pictures seem to come up from time to time...but could this be the "real" Banksy after all? Something called the Brian Sewell Art Directory claims to know the truth. Search Banksy on Google and this picture is the first thing that comes up. Is it fake? Whats up!

The gun control debate rises anew in the wake of another mass shooting, but mental health treatment should receive the same critical attention and maybe more.
We're past the point of reversing our nation's gun culture, but it's not too late to better handle the psychological problems often at the root of such senseless violence. We need to ask some serious questions about how we treat the mentally ill, how we pay for that care and how we change a dismissive attitude toward a problem that can be solved. We can start with our elected officials. Do something about it!
GUN CONTROL TALK IS CHEAP
MENTAL HEALTH TALK ISN'T.

Heavy traffic may not be your biggest danger on your way to work. A new study from the careers website CareerBuilder.com shows that angry and distracted drivers are all over the road during your morning and afternoon commute.
The survey, conducted online within the U.S. by Harris Interactive on behalf ofCareerBuilder, polled 3,892 U.S. workers (employed full-time, not self-employed, non-government) ages 18 and over between May 14 and June 4, 2012.
It found that 58% of commuters have experienced road rage, and nearly one-in-ten commuters have gotten into a fight with another commuter.
“Experiencing road rage on the way to work is most often associated with running late and can be heightened by things we can’t control, such as traffic,” says Rosemary Haefner, vice president of human resources at CareerBuilder. “If you start the day stressed and angry, unfortunately it can have a negative impact on the rest of your day.”
Eighty-three percent of all surveyed workers said they usually drive to work—and of those commuters, 12% reported that they took a job with a longer commute during or after the recession. Episodes of road rage are more common among those with longer trips, but workers with short drives to their jobs aren’t unaffected, CareerBuilder says.
Thirty-seven percent of workers with commutes of less than five minutes said they experience road rage from time to time, while 54% of those with commutes of less than ten minutes admitted to it.

Be willing to change, but only for yourself.
It really is a numbers game. Play the numbers, roll with the punches. It’s a roller coaster, ups and downs, baby. "When you’re up, it’s never as good as it seems and when you’re down it seems like you’ll never get up again." You will.
"Good things come to those that wait". Not this time. Good things come to those that act. The 3-second rule works on many levels.
In general, it is bad form to apologize. For anything. You can admit you were wrong, you can offer to make things right, but don’t apologize.
There is no such thing as overconfidence. There is such a thing as taking yourself too seriously, however.
Do not ask permission to do or say anything. Never ask a woman if you can kiss them, hug them, hold them, etc.
Agreeable is boring.
Jealousy is a "let’s just be friends" best friend.
. Never ask questions that are designed to find out what she thinks of you.
A fireplace is a worthwhile investment.
You must lead. Even if you don’t know where you’re going. Make it an adventure. Take her hand and lead.
Life isn’t fair and dating is a part of life. Dating, dealing with women, isn’t and isn’t supposed to be fair. Get over it.

less is more
Often times we say too much or give too much and receive too little. Mix it up and give less and see how much MORE you get back in return.
Less Bullshitting = More Reality
Less Lies = More Truth
Less Fighting = More Winning
Less Assumptions = More Clarity
Less Gametime = More Playtime
I know this pretty much a NO-BRAINIER.. but still I had to go there. For some reason the MORE you think something is common sense...
The LESS common it is.
So the real deal is we have to stop expecting more than we give and start giving less of the garbage that doesn't bring MORE to the table. WORK ...HOME and in everyday relationships. We've just
got to do better. Because
everything is everything.

This is the best Sprite Ad of all time!
Wow, not sure I have ever seen an interactive ad as badass as this before. Who wouldn't want a Sprite shower at the beach? I'm sure plenty of little kids tried and tasted the water hoping for the real thing. Ha, love it!
This summer in Rio De Janeiro, the beaches were literally hot, and people need a way to refresh themselves with a cool-down. This is where that whole “free soda refill” idea came in handy. Sprite saw a unique opportunity. Instead of giving out free Sprite, (which is nice yet not exactly revolutionary), they instead thought big, Really big. The soda maker literally created the worlds biggest soda fountain, with which people could go and refresh themselves not by having a free refill of soda, but a free shower.

7 Year Old Children
Are Stupider Then
BIRDS
No matter how bright you think your child is, until the age of seven, children are no brainier than the birds.
Researchers at the University of Cambridge during simple experiments found out that birds did just as well as children up until the age of seven, The Daily Mail reported.
By pitting birds against boys and girls using tests inspired by the Aesop’s fable in which a thirsty crow is able to drink from a pitcher after using pebbles to raise the water level to within its reach.
In two of the three tests the birds, Eurasian jays, did just as well as the seven-year-old children.
After this, the human mind proved superior to the bird brain.
The experiments built on earlier work in which jays quickly learned that adding stones to a cylinder half-filled with water would bring a tasty treat floating on the surface within reach of their beaks.
In a second task the jays, colourful members of the crow family and about the same size as jackdaws, realized it was better to use pebbles, which sink, than corks, which float.
When Cambridgeshire children, aged four to ten, were set similar tasks, they did as well as the jays on the first, up to the age of seven.
From the age of eight, the pupils learned more quickly than the birds. The pattern was similar with the second task, except four-year-old children did worse than the jays.
