He started playing when his cousin sparked an interest in football for him nine years ago, and has been playing ever since. Carrllo explains, “My coaches, teammates, and the thought of being in the NFL motivate me to be the best I can be. I am so confident in myself that I don’t feel nervous about anything.” In fact, he says he feels excited before a game. If you ask Carrllo what goes on in his head when he is playing football he will respond with “nothing really. Just reacting.” For Carrllo, football is natural and winning Best Play of the Week is another step toward his main goal: to be in the National Football League.
