"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

Highway flowers

I took this photo and thought it was interesting. Looking at it now, not so much. I can look at it and see the man built highway in contrast with the wild flower growth. ‘Man vs Nature’ but I’m drawing blank.

Lester's Diner Neon sign
Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Shot on Lomography Color Negative 100 film
This place is a bit of a greasy spoon and photogentic in the right angles if you know what I mean. For example, the neon sign outside. Glowing in the darkness of the parking lot. With that signature red/orange neon color casting a glow onto the ground. What a cool atmosphere!
The inside is equally cool when viewed in it's best angles. Two tone vinyl booth [Check]!
Diner Coffee [Check]!
All-day Breakfast [Check]!
Country Fried Steak [Check]!
I might try a burger and chocolate milkshake next time.

Flower Diptych

A beautiful flower diptych. The first flower is tall and has light pink, cupped pedals. a delicate and elegant sight. The second flower was also tall, but had a different appearance. It has upward-pointing yellow pedals with white pedals at the top, peeking out but slightly drooping. Both flowers were tall and striking, but in different ways. This is a lovely contrast and a stunning display, perfect for a flower diptych.

Not of Confusion

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
