If you are new to this blog or to me in general, then you should know that Indie Queen Vintage has been around for almost 5 years now. Between school and traveling I just never had the time to take proper care of my little vintage shop. But it's time to step it up! The store will carry items that I love, which are usually on the funkier, unusual side.  Items that I've been hoarding away for some time and I'm ready to pass these jewels onto other Indie Queens. You can expect sparkly vintage clothing, costume jewelry, bags and fun accessories like leather bags and belts. Only the highest quality and most wearable pieces make the cut into the store. Strictly vintage fit for a queen, a daring, sophisticated Indie Queen.

Saturday night Jess and I went out to dinner at my favorite little french cafe, Buena Vista Bistro. It was the perfect time to debut this recent acquisition from the Goodwill. The dress was in mint vintage condition and did not have to be cleaned, altered and barely even styled because it is dramatic just the way it is. I love the tiny polka dots, perfect silk fabric, cream color and especially love the asymmetrical hem.

Some fun shots from last week's photoshoot inspired by this 'indie queen' print on a vintage Moschino dress. The shoot concept was simple: have the model run around the shady streets of Miami's art district in a tiara and heels you can break an ankle in. A little bad attitude and glam rock make a for some fabulous pictures.
