Review:

Aveeno Clear complexion foaming cleanser

Let me tell y'all something.  If you are looking to clear your skin FAST, look no more.  The Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser worked wonders on my skin.  I stopped using Proactiv a few months ago, and my skin totally freaked out! I had never had so much acne in my life! While at Target, I spur of the momently picked this prodcut up.  Within days, I stopped getting acne, and my acne scares were starting to fade. This is going to be a short review because I'm in class and have no time to do an extremely lengthy one, but I hope I am getting accross to y'all just how good this stuff is! It is about $6.85 at Target.  It is a foamy texture and smells really nice. I really like that after you use it, your face feels squeaky clean and soft.  I really hope y'all try this out!!

I LOVE PINK!

PINK! PINK! PINK!

Since Valentines day is the day after tomorrow (EEK!), I decided to do a blog post on all things pink that I am currently loving! Pink is one of my favorite colors. It is just so feminine and girly! Since I will most likely be sitting at home on Valentines day, forever alone, stuffing my face with Raisonettes and Hershies Kisses, watching the Notebook and reminiscing over The Vow, I wanted to get my Valentines day on and do this post! Hehe.

In my opinion, this is the perfect Valentines day nail polish. It is just the prettiest bubble gum pink. This is Mod Square by Essie!

Okay...don't laugh at me! I've literally had these my whole life, I have one in every size! They're called Flatsos.  Although we are past the age when one would want to recieve one of these for Valentines day, I would still want one haha. They are so soft and comfy to sleep with! If you don't have any plans, these little guys will hang out with you on the 14th!

This is the Revlon Lip Butter in Cotton Candy. I love this color because it gives a really natural and nice pink shimmer to the lips.  It is also extremely moisturizing (hence the name lip BUTTER) and the packaging is really cute.  I keep this in my purse and am constantly applying it. They only cost around $8 so why not?!

Yes, I've had these for quite the long time, BUT I still love them.  These are the Jcrew toothpick jeans.  They cost $108, but they are totally worth it. Just pink pants in general are cute, and they are perfect for spring time!

Here is a simple outfit I made on Polyvore centered around a pink dress.  I think this would be a really cute outfit to wear on Valentines Day!!

I hope y'all have a fabulous Valentines day, weather you're at home alone or out with your prince charming.  Feel free to check out my:

Fitness Friday #1

Fitness Friday!

1st Tip: Workout In The Morning!

Working out in the morning really makes all the difference. Firstly, if you workout in the afternoon, there is more of a chance of you skipping your workout due to conflicts.  Getting your workout in right when you wake up guarantees that you work out. Also, you can get it over with and won't have to worry about it later. Another cool thing, is that you burn more fat in the morning.  It takes about 3 minutes to start burning fat right when you wake up, where it takes about 12 minutes in the afternoon.  This happens beacuse your body has to burn through all the sugar you've eaten beforehand, and in the morning, your body hasn't had any sugar yet.  In conclusion, if you workout in the morning, EVERYONE WINS!

2nd Tip: Do 8 Minute Abs Before You Go To Sleep!

Okay this may sound weird, but I've been doing this for a while, and I gotta say, I have abs of steel.  It's only 8  minutes, and it really gives your abs a good workout.  If you can't do this everyday, I would suggest doing it at least every other day to get good results.

3rd Tip: Keep Calm!

Being fit and healthy is somewhat of a challenge...For me, if I mess up and eat a big, fat juicy burger, I don't freak! It's oaky to mess up! When you over eat or forget to excercise, just drink a lot of water and try to be healthy for the rest of the day.  A bunch of little steps make big changes!

Chanel Spring Makeup!

Chanel 2012 Spring Make Up Collection

This blush is AMAZING. It's seriously SO pigmented. I'm wearing it right now, and I've already gotten mulitple compliments on it.  No one has ever complimented me for a blush! The only problem with this is the price.  Yes, it's $58. But honestly, I would buy this again in a heartbeat. That says a lot.

If you guys don't already know, I'm a complete nail polish JUNKIE. I can't remember the last time I went to Ulta and didn't buy a nail polish.  I know, crazy. When I came upon these three Spring colors at Niemans for the first time, my heart started racing with excitement.  Theres a really pretty light red, a beautiful orange, and a girly pink that everyone could wear.  I have not gotten my hands on these, but I heard the Chanel counter calling my name after school today!

This eyeshadow quad is just so cute! I think it's perfect for the transition from winter to spring, and then really good for the springtime! The colors are so pigmented and natural. The only thing I don't care for are the little sponge applicators, but who uses those anyways?

January 2012 Favorites!

January Favorites!

Three words.  Revlon Lip Butters.

Not only do these lipsticks give you beautiful, long-lasting color on your lips, but they are extremely moisturizing.

A shimmery neutral nail? Heck yes.  Butter London's All Hail the Queen and Sephora by OPI's Already Famous are my two nail polish picks for this month.  Not only do they go well with most skin tones, but they're shimmery and natural looking.  What's better than that?

To be shiny, or not to be shiny.  That's the question right there.  Personally, shine on my face drives me up the wall.  I am anti-oil.  Yucky. But it's all okay because of this product right here.  Urban Decay's De Slick Oil Control Make Up Setting Spray rocks my socks off.  Yes I did just say that.  My make up stays on all day long.  This is an absolute must have if you don't want to look like you ran through a steam room by the end of the day or night.  It also comes in a dry-skin version and a normal version. Right on!

As you will soon discover, I have many January favorites, but oh well, you beauty-obsessed chicas out there know how this is.

Has your hair ever looked like it's been electrified? I know mine has! Actually, my hair used to resemble that of Hagrid from Harry Potter.  It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product is the most amazing thing thats ever happened to my hair. The things it does:

1. Repairs dry, damaged hair

2. Adds shine

3. Detangles

4. Controls frizz

5. Seals and protects hair color

6. Prevents split ends

7. Stops hair breakage

8. Creates silkiness

9. Enhances natural body

10. Heat protectant

As you can see, this product is FREAKING AMAZING

Go.Buy.It.Now

Do you like romance and adventure? If so, then this book is for you.  I promise you that you won't put it down.  I rarely read books, but when I read this one, there was no stopping me.  You won't regret this buy!

Have you ever felt that spark? That spark between you and a certain someone? You just know that it's right, and you want to be with them forever? Well I certainly haven't felt that yet as an almost 18 year-old, BUT I have felt something similer.  I know, it was a weird comparison. Benefit's Dallas blush literally blew me away. The way it looks on pan does not give it justice.  On the skin, it transforms you into a ravishing beauty.

This watch is like Heaven.  It was so perfect for the month of January.  Sometimes it can seem a bit flashy to slug around a huge, fancy watch, but this one is just beautiful.

Bye bye dark circles! The Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Roller is the bomb.  I don't know how I walked out of my house looking like I did when I did not own this.  Not only does it conceal your under eye circles, it makes your entire face look more awake due to the caffeine in it. Suffering from dark circles like I am? Go pick this up!

I just had to add a very special favorite. My besties! Kara and Barrett are definently some of my favorites for January.  Love them to death.  We had a blast in New Orleans!

Guess it's time to go to jail...you're lashes are too long! Okay that was super duper cheesy, but this mascara literally is the equivelant of lash extensions or something of the sort.  My lashes have never looked so long and voluminous in my entire life. AND it's drugstore! Everyone wins!

Acne, acne, go away, please DON'T come again another day. Haha! This stuff is a GREAT foundation, and it also helps clear acne! How conveniant! After a month of complete hell for my skin, (I've been breaking out like crazy all month long) this stuff is actually starting to stop my breakouts.  HOORAY!

Have your fingers ever bounced on a trampoline? Yeah, mine haven't either. BUT this is the closest they will ever get...AND the color is amazing. These Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes are SO fun and SO pigmented. They give a really pretty, natural glow to the face. Perfect for Spring! YAY!

That's it for my January 2012 favorites! I hope you guys enjoyed my first post on this blog/magazine type thing! I had a lot of fun putting it together! Yay for new things!
