In Clermont, Florida, they recently repaved the main street in the downtown area. What caught my attention was a smart idea I hadn't seen before. Instead of the typical painted parking lines, they used white-colored brick pavers to mark the parking spaces. It looked both great and smart.

2 Cups All-Purpose King Arthur Flour
1 Tsp Saf Instant Dry Yeast
1 Tsp Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Warm water (105F)
Mix dry ingredients, mix in water, knead for a few minutes.
Rise for 1 hour minimum. (Option: Use room temp water and let rise overnight)
Drop into a cast iron pan
Score top of bread
Oven at 350
Bake 40 Mins

The best perspective to enjoy the cityscape is from the road.
These pictures were taken from the roof, and when I look around, it just feels kind of weird. I mean, I like buildings, and I've even worked in them before. I get that they're important for bringing people together and all that. But, honestly, I'm more into cars. I love checking them out, driving them around, and if I can't get to my car in, like, 30 seconds, I start feeling a bit off. Buildings are cool and all, but there's something about cars that just clicks with me.
It's not just about how they look; it's also about the fun of driving and the feeling of freedom they give. And, yeah, practicality matters too. If I can't easily get to my car, it kinda takes away the whole point for me. So, even though rooftops might offer a cool view, my heart is really on the ground.

Raising Cane's recently opened a new location near me in Doral, Florida. I've heard that their menu is very simple, thats something I really appreciate. Simple is hard but when its done right, it's the best.
I decided to try three piece combo, and it was good. I like WingStop, I found the breading at Raising Cane's to be softer and I perfer it to being really crispy. Oldschool KFC.
I perfer fresh-cut fries but their crinkle-cut fries were better than most I've had. The Texas toast also stood out as a delicious addition.
I'm not much of a sauce guy, I did try the Cane's sauce but didn;t like it... Tasted like ketchup and mayonnaise to me.
The biggest takeaway is that it lived up to the simple pholosophy and I'll be back soon.
