HOW TO'S
It is one thing to go to the gym and just go through the motions of an exercise. To be forward it is actually more of a danger to your body to just lift than it is to lift properly. we have provided many videos and some step by step possesses to help you achieve success in the gym!
THIS WEEK’S SUCCESS STORIES!
The Squat is one of the most commonly used exercise in most workouts. It is also the most common exercise that is done wrong. As the squat is a great exercise to have in your program it is also very dangerous if not preformed correctly. We have provided a video to help walk you through the proper form of a squat in hopes in helping to prevent future injuries commonly resulting from an improper squat.
Kettlebell sings are one of the hardest exercises to properly learn. Once you have mastered the motion these swings are one of the greatest ways to get a great quick workout. In doing these swings you have combined a total body lift with cardio and saving time. So if you feel that you are rushed in the gym try adding this great exercise to your routine. Here we have provided a helpful video to show you the proper motion of a kettlebell swing.
Success stories are based on our personal training clients who have reached a personal goal in their programs. We only post stories with the clients full permission in hopes to give other the inspiration and drive to meet or create their own goals.
We would like to introduce Alex! Alex has been one of these funnest clients to work with so far. He originally came in to reserve help on winning a bet with the boys. Since then he has continued to make and achieve new personal health goals. When Alex first met with us he originally just wanted to achieve a max weight of 250 Lb on the bench press. After reaching this goal months ago Alex decided he wanted the "ideal body" that our society sadly perseveres as the perfect body. As a personal trainer i had to explain that there is no real "ideal body" for everyone as we are all built differently. As a more attainable goal Alex and I decided to set his new goals as a 1% body fat decrease per week and establish muscular sculpting or also known as "tone". After three long months of fun but hard work Alex has officially lost 10% of his body fat percentage and gained his own ideal muscular tone. As his trainer i would like to congratulate Alex on his success and will miss our training sessions.

I would like everyone to meet Mya. Mya came to me over a year ago after struggling with weight loss on her own for years. As we all have experienced at one point or another weight loss can be a long struggle to keep motivated and patient enough to see results. Mya is one hardworking client who was just lacking a little motivation and knowledge of weight loss training. Many people think that just working out hard everyday will give results. In all honestly weight loss is a huge combination of proper workout schedule, cardio, and nutritional tracking. Mya struggled at first to discipline herself enough to make good nutritional choices for herself. I am proud to say after months of hard work and discipline Mya has lost 32 Lp and is finally happy with her appearance and overall personal health. GO MYA! Remember just because you have met your ideal weight doesn't mean the training is over. Now is the time to continue the good nutritional habits learned and a structured work out plan.
