ACMI
The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) is dedicated to the moving image in all forms. It is located in Federation Square. ACMI is a state of the art facility built for the preservation, exhibition and promotion of Victorian, Australian and International screen content.
ACMI have many live events on, at the moment ACMI are showcasing DreamWorks Animation with wokshops on how to make an animation as well as some fun green screen activities. ACMI have some proffesional animators to come in from DreamWorks and talk about their job and what they do.

possible impacts for ACMI include decrease in government funding sources, sponsorship opportunities, increase in operating costs
and a decrease in the number of customers. As ACMI is more and more reliant on making their own money, it also increases
its exposure to economic downturns
ACMI's values consists of 4 main components. One is that they want to give all visitors a warm welcome to ACMI and to feel at home as much as possible. The second reason is to give a sense of theatre, it is to engage visitors as much as possible and try to replicate a theatre. The third component is a creative tension, to engage in intense creative and critical debate with each other, our audiences, our partners, and our communities. The last component is passion and depth, the aim of this is to have quality professionals and to be driven by a desire to know more, grow and evolve.
ACMI's audience is to build, engage and reach out to diverse audiences and trying to appeal to the largest age group, especially Australian communities, in exploring and personally
creating the media that drive our lives.
