In spite of everything always give of your best.........

so many times we do good and end up holding the shytty end of the stick and thinking of that song with the lyrics "I did my best but I guess my best wasn't good enough."Most times we make the decision that due to the behaviour we received  that we will not go out of our way to help people. In fact for a while my thinking was people are simply ungrateful by nature, but then I started ignoring what I was getting back in return and started using what I call psychological warfare, Killing them with kindness. I have realised that when you ignore people and just press on doing whatever good you planned to do their gratitude or lack thereof is seen by others and you are still in order to receive your blessings from God. Funny enough I attended a seminar and one of the presenters read words written on the walls of the house that Mother Teresa lived in and since Google is my friend I searched and found them and another similar version. I know at first trying to ignore people neither know the words thanks or even though they are on the receiving end of your kindness maybe the most unkind to you but just try and day by day it will get easier.

but I am the best person that I can be. People often times feel that they must compete with a friend's other friends or a spouse's ex spouse but in reality we don't. All that is required of us is to be there for our friends in a way that is needed at the time. One friend will never require the exact same thing as another friend, so don't ever feel slighted when your one size fits all method of friendship does not work. Some people are also very selfish with their friends and in turn get very upset when they have to share them with others but yet they have more than one friend in that address book or blackberry contact list and they approach different friends based on the situation that they find themselves in. At the end of the day there is one thing required in friendship just be the best friend any of your friends may need.

I love twitter! To me it is the perfect way to interact with strangers without being too accessible to their personal lives. A friend that I introduced to twitter told me she thought it was for the stars. I began to tell her no but then I thought about it and simply said yes, because in our own right we are all stars. Tracey, also known as Zuri, which means Beautiful in Swahili, is a lover of fashion, music and life. I am 28 yr old single, young, aspiring model/singer, born and raised in Washington, DC. I am a graduate of St. John's College High School, were I was in the school choir. After graduating I then went on to study music at Virginia Union University, but my love for music and singing came from being in church. That’s where it started. I have always had a love for music every since I was little, but not only have I had a love for music, but I have a love for fashion as well. I have always wanted to model, but didn't think tall or small enough to pursue it.  I always wanted to be a model because fashion is a deep passion of mine. To be a model, it takes more than just a pretty face. I think modeling is an expressive art form and tells a story without words. You can show movement in a still picture, and I think that is incredible to be able to have that skill. I want to be known as the alluring beauty with voluptuous curves. I love my curves because they are a part of me. They help make me the woman that I have grown to love today. This is the body that God gave me, why shouldn't I love them. They make me feel sexy, sassy and confident. As Coco Chanel said “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.” My all time favorite model would have to be Marilyn Monroe. I loved her confidence and how she was not afraid to be herself. She didn’t care what anyone had to say about her and you just had to love her. My favorite color is pink, I love stepping out in a pair of my highest heels and my hottest outfit, feeling like I am on top of the world. Some of my hobbies include traveling, meeting new people, listening to music, singing, taking pictures, reading, watching sports, dancing and of course shopping. I love motorcycles and plan on owning one really soon. I am also big on family, because my family has always been there for me. We are very close even if we do get on each other’s nerves from time to time, but what family doesn't have its ups and downs. My family is very supportive of me in everything that I do, and for that I am grateful.
