Robin Williams was only paid $75,000 to do the voice work in the 1992 film Aladdin Under the condition his voice would not be used in advertising to sell products for the movie.
When the film broke $200 million at the box office, Disney broke their promise to Williams.
Robin Williams was very upset with Disney. A few years later Disney to make good gave Williams a late Picasso painting (not the one in the photo)
Williams never fully forgave Disney.

El Encanto de Valledupar
Esta bella imagen muestra uno de los paisajes mas hermosos de la ciudad de Valledupar (Colombia), capital mundial del vallenato, este majestuoso paisaje sirve de inspiración para los amantes del vallenato, ya que en muchas de sus canciones se hace honor a su querida "flor del cañaguate".
Valledupar es ampliamente conocida por ser la cuna del vallenato y celebrar anualmente el Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata. Es, además, uno de los epicentros culturales de la Costa Caribe colombiana. La danza folclórica más importante es la danza del pilón. En la ciudad se celebran anualmente los carnavales. Las peleas de gallos están muy arraigadas en la cultura de la gente.
Valledupar, oficialmente Ciudad de los Santos Reyes del Valle de Upar, es la capital del departamento del Cesar, Colombia.
Uno de los atractivos turísticos de Valledupar es el balneario de Hurtado en el río Guatapurí, en el que podemos apreciar la naturaleza y las costumbres de la ciudad. Además de esto se encuentra la vista al puente de Hurtado, la Sirena conocida por su fantastica leyenda y el parque Lineal, donde se encuentra el Pueblito Vallenato.

En el centro de la ciudad se encuentran la plaza principal, aquí se se evidencia la cultura vallenata, en este lugar se realizan eventos culturales, y se llevan acabo diferentes actividades para el Festival Vallenato, fiesta típica de la ciudad que se realiza en el mes de abril.
Pero no solo se vive la musica en este lugar, sino la tranquilidad y los recuerdos de aquel antiguo pueblo llamado Valledupar, el sector cuenta con casas coloniales, hasta el día de hoy son patrimonio cultural de la ciudad.

The Kooks Road Trip Part 3
Osheaga
Seeing The Kooks live at Osheaga was my 5th time that week, so there isn't really much more I can tell you about their performance.
Their set was much the same as it was at Lollapalooza, Junk of the Heart opened the set, and as always Niave closed it. In between we got a great mixture of newness and old favourites.

They still thrilled me with their performance, like I was seeing them for the first time instead of the 5th. Really in a way I were, They do not put on a scripted show. Songs are changed and Luke's stage presence changes nightly- always in a good way.
The thing I seemed to notice most about them during this week was, even with all the traveling they do, and the heat they endured at the outside festivals, they still took the stage and seemed to enjoy what they do. Not once did they falter and get into a " Lets just get this show over with " mode

My favourite moments in all the shows always came with two songs. The first one was Seaside, and I will admit, even if it is a classic Kooks song, it is not in my Top 5 favourites. Seeing it performed live tho is a bit magical. It is a sing-a-long, led by Luke Pritchard with the whole crowd joining in. It is an amazing moment when everyone around you is singing in unity along with the band, however out of sync or out of tune we all may be.
My second favourite moment is always the performance of Forgive and Forget, the new single off their forthcoming album Listen. Not only is it a great song, but Luke seems to lose himself in his dancing during it. The somewhat dizzy induced euphoria he has seems to radiate out into the crowd, driving them into a frenzy as he spins across the stage and moves on and off the barrier
Looking back at the whole week is a bit crazy. I am not sure how The Kooks and other bands travel the way they do, it wore me out. You don't imagine being able to see your favourite band six times in such a close time period ( to my defense, they come to the US so little, I wanted to get my fill while I could...I didn't..) and not get bored with the same performance, but enough things changed every night to keep it fresh.
I am looking forward to seeing them again in October, when they once again come back to the States. With the upcoming release of Listen, I have a feeling things will be different. I think this is their time, they are going to take the States by storm and prove to more than just us long time fans that they are a band worth listening to.

ضع جودة التطبيق البرمجي أول ما تفكر فيه

إذا كنت تدرس أو تعمل في مجال تطوير البرامج فأكيد أنك ستشعر بكلامي جيدا ,, هل جربت أن تعمل على برنامج قام غيرك ببرمجته من قبل ؟؟
في عودة لما رأيته شخصيا قبل عدة أيام حين طلب مني مديري في عملي الجديد إصلاح بعض الأخطاء وإضافة عدد من الإضافات في برنامج سطح مكتب Desktop Application بدت المهمة سهلة في البداية ,, فالمتطلبات لم تكن كبيرة أبدا !
تصفحت سطور كود الـ #C لأتتبع مسار البرنامج وأفهمه أولا ,, لم يكن ذلك بتلك السهولة التي تصورتها !!!! لا يوجد تعليق ولا إرشاد بين أسطر الكود أبدا للتعريف بألية العمل !!! طيب لا مشكلة ,, ممكن ببعض الوقت الزيادة يتم فهم العمل !
أصلحت عدد من الأخطاء المطلوب إصلاحها لكن أكثر ما أتعبني بشكل ملحوظ هو كم السطور المكتوبة في البرنامج بدون داعي !! لم أفهم السبب حقيقة ,, لكن ما لاحظته أيضا أن بعض هذه الأكواد تبطىء من عمل البرنامج بشكل لا يمكن تجاهله !
ما أردت أن أقوله بالخلاصة إذا كنت مبرمج ومهتم بجودة عملك فأخرج برمجتك بأحسن ما يكون سواء بالشكل أو بالسرعة أو بسهولة الإستخدام ,, بمعنى أخر أن لايكون الهدف هو مجرد أن يعمل برنامجك ,, لكن الهدف أن يعمل البرنامج بأحسن ما يكون .
الأمر الثاني هو أن تهتم اكثر بعملية التعليقات داخل الكود البرمجي Comments و عملية الـ Documentation لتسهيل عملية البرمجة من بعدك أو حتى لك أنت شخصيا إذا عدت مرة اخرة لتطوير نفس البرنامج ..
