Artist Kiki Valdes was selected including only two other Miami trendsetters to help brand the new Lexus Hybrid. Six major cities were picked for a reality style show/commercial for the car. The premise for the program is for the host comedian Whitney Cummings to drive in the car with each guest. Kiki drives Whitney around Miami’s art district then ending at his art studio. The branding for the car was a younger, hip and green friendly demographic that are educated, enjoy fine foods and are cultured in the arts.

COMMISSIONED ART

 CNN MIAMI HEADQUARTERS

CNN en Español commissioned Kiki Valdes to create a painting for a private proceeding the company had for their top advertisers at the ViceRoy in Brickell, Miami FL. It’s one of the most important parties CNN has for its Latin American clients. The president of CNN en Español requested that the painting be hung in Miami’s new CNN production studio built in Brickell Key.

COLOMBIANS IN MEDELLIN

Medellin’s social media outreach program Medellin Digital invited Kiki Valdes to give a lecture on art and social media. The major confernece was called TagMe. Kiki spoke to 600 young Colombian professionals and university students. He also created a painting for the city of Medellin. The painting now hangs in the Medellin Digital headquarters. The event made headlines in all Colombian major newspapers sparking wider interest in social media for the country. Kiki is good friends with Oscar Morales who organized the 1 Million Voices Against the FARC protests that got worldwide attention. Morales efforts and those of Medellin Digital with TagMe took place around election time made this an important part of Colombia's history.

Kiki Valdes strongly believes in creating strong dialogs with the art community. He calls it cultural diplomacy. He likes to contribute his part to add to the discourse. He organized the exhibit 20(12): Twenty-Twelve at the Miami Art Space. The show featured 12 artists and their ideas of the future. The exhibit had a private soft reception sponsored by Ruinart Champagne. Ruinart commissioned Valdes to make a piece it can auction for a charitable trust. The event had 50 exclusive guests and was featured in Ocean Drive Magazine. Some reviews of the show are below.

BLOOD AND

PERSONALITY

Type A:
While outwardly calm, they have such high standards (perfectionists) that they tend to be balls of nerves on the inside. Type A's are the most artistic of the blood groups. They can be shy, are conscientious, trustworthy, and sensitive.

Type B:
Goal oriented and strong minded, type B's will start a task and continue it until completed, and completed well. Type B's are the individualists of the blood group categories and find their own way in life.

Type O:
Type O's are outgoing, and very social. They are initiators, although they don't always finish what they start. Creative and popular, they love to be the center of attention and appear very self confident.

Type AB:
Type AB's are the split personalities of the blood groups. They can be both outgoing and shy, confident and timid. While responsible, too much responsibility will cause a problem. They are trustworthy and like to help others.

'TYPE A'
Type As most often described themselves in ways related to the following characteristics: sensitive to the needs of others, good listeners, detail oriented, analytical, creative and inventive. Type As may seem calm on the outside, but inside, you’re filled with anxiety and worry. You’re perfectionists and often shy and sensitive. Usually introverted, you’re stable and thoughtful. You make good listeners and are sensitive to color and your surroundings. You like to be fashionable and are up on the latest trends, but never flashy or gaudy. You like romantic settings and often shun reality for fantasy worlds. A is most compatible with A and AB in the love department. Common career choices: accountant, librarian, economist, writer, computer programmer, and gossip columnist.
Blood Type A - Tend to be cooperative, sensitive, clever, passionate and smart. Often bottling up anxiety in order to get along with others, they may hold in their emotions until they explode. Many are tense, impatient and unable to sleep well. While they are capable of leadership positions, they may not take them because the stress is not good for their tightly wired systems.

'TYPE B'
Blood Type B's often described themselves in ways related to the following characteristics: subjective, easygoing, creative, original and flexible. In another study, Type B's scored significantly higher on "intuiting," indicating a preference or sixth sense information; and they scored high on the "intuiting/feeling" combination, indicating that they tend to be insightful, mystical, idealistic, creative, globally-oriented, people-oriented and good at imagining. They also reported that they learned best through listening, then reflecting on and interpreting what they had observed. Perhaps the nomadic life of the steppes contributed to long hours given over to talk as well as ample time for meditation and reflection. Type B's can be very goal-oriented and often complete the ambitious tasks set before them. Outgoing and very charming, you’re good at reading people and providing support. Though critical of appearance (but not your own), you aren’t picky and are unlikely to dwell over the little things.
Type Bs are impulsive individualists who often create their own path in life. You are very strong and optimistic. B is most compatible with B and AB lovers. Common career choices: cook, hairdresser, military leader, talk show host, and journalist. Blood type B individuals tend to be balanced: thoughtful like A's and yet ambitious like O's. They are empathetic, easily understanding others' points of view, yet often hesitating to challenge or confront. Chameleon-like and flexible, they make good friends. 

• Type A: Reserved and prone to worry, sensitive perfectionists such as Britney Spears and Adolf Hitler.

• Type O: Decisive, self-confident, curious, and ideal for sport, including Elvis Presley and the Queen.

• Type B: Cheerful, caring, flamboyant free-thinkers such as Jack Nicholson.

• Type AB: High-maintenance, distant, suited to arts, such as Mao Zedong.
