On Thursday, March 5th, the 21st Century Community Learning Center hosted its annual Read Across America / Dr. Seuss Day Celebration! Students from the Grandview, Intermediate, and Middle School Bulldog Academies joined together to celebrate literacy with their families! Staff members from 21st CCLC held four stations where students from Grandview and Intermediate Bulldog Academy participated. The stations were: Dr. Seuss Bingo, Arts and Crafts, a Relay Race created and led by the Middle School Bulldog Academy students, and a book giveaway station led by the nonprofit organization Cops 'n' Kids.
Over 90 students attended, joined by over 45 parents/family members!

GETTING DEEPER/ Here are some installation shots of my solo show "Deeper Terrrain" at Art Farm Iowa and my time there in Sept. The show has about one more week to go to see it before November 15th. This is my first real show in the Midwest, hope you can see it if your in the area.

Congratulations to the Varsity Football team on their 42-8 victory over Jenkintown to become the PIAA District 1 Single A Champions for a 3rd year in a row!
The team moves on to play in the PIAA District Regional game against Belmont Charter this Friday, 11/7 at Rober Morris “A” Field. Kick off is 7:00pm
