parrots chandelier
It’s not every day that you walk into a fancy-schmancy outfit that is full of parrot chandeliers. Chandeliers from the ceiling, or attached to the wall. All over the place. It was interesting. They were Tiffany lamps style or but Stain glass, or whatever its called. It was cool.
Welcome to Florida!

Society
Looking at these building in Miami reminds me a lot about hurricanes. Yeah hurricanes can be bad. The only good thing about them is you can plan ahead and be as ready as one can be.

But the one thing a lot of new arrivals might miss about hurricanes is that yeah it can totally wreck everything BUT... And a big BUT is that that's just a small part of it. No power, no air conditioning! Having no power for one or two weeks is no joke. Heat, humidity and having everything around you totally wrecked really SUCKS.

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Yet have believed

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Cheap Nikon Lens

Cheap good plastic!
Light weight, cheap & super sharp! Nikon made some great lens back in the day. These are plastic & not built great but hey they are very light and already lasted this long so whats another 20 years more. I got the one on the left, Nikon 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6 G, for only $27! I've owned the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 D since 2004 and I got that new for 98 bucks; Its even cheaper now, maybe $50. I recently picked up a used Nikon 35-70mm f/3.5-4.8 for $76. All these are fantastic plastic.
