NP: Why are you happy?
BP: I am happy because I am constantly making the choice to see the beauty in ugliness. Even though of course at times that can seem hard I know that every second spent upset is a second I’ll never get back. There is a line from a song (Love this – Cosmo Jarvis) that always makes me realise that to see the good in the bad the most important thing to focus on is “dying keeps me conscious of the way I waste my breath”. It reminds me that my time on this earth is very limited and there is only one way I want to spend it, and that is being happy.
